When You Visit

We get it! Coming to church for the first time can be daunting. We want to welcome you and help you feel at home, so here’s what to expect:

Service Time: 10 am Sunday

Our Address: 55a Wentworth St, Wallsend, NSW

Parking: On-street parking is available. We love our neighbours so please be careful not to block their driveways

At the Door: Our Service Team will welcome you at the door & help you check-in. We have a COVID Safe plan.

Children’s Program: If your children would like to attend our Kid’s Program we will direct you to our Sunday Kid’s leaders.

Inside Church: When you come in, make yourself comfortable. We don’t have reserved seating - you’re welcome to sit anywhere.

Singing: We love to sing in church and you’re welcome to join us - the words will be up on the screen so you can join in if you feel like it. We understand that some of us (like our senior pastor) like to reserve our singing for the shower and that’s fine too - singing isn’t compulsory, you’re welcome to sit down and soak up the atmosphere.

Praying: We will pray during the service and we would love to pray with you if there’s anything you need. When we pray, we keep it simple and talk to God like we would any other friend. We won’t single you out or expect you to pray.

Preaching: Each week one of our pastors or leaders will speak about a part of the Bible for about 25-30 minutes. If you have a Bible and you want to bring it, that’s great. If not, don’t worry - the Bible passages will be on the screen during the service.

Morning Tea: After church, we usually hang around for a cup of tea or coffee and some morning tea. It’s a great opportunity to get to know people and we would love you to join us. If you’re not ready to meet people yet, we completely understand and many of us have felt that way at some point too.

Facilities: Our bathrooms are located on the left side of the building through the lounge area. Feel free to ask our Service Team to direct you to the bathrooms.
