Make Jesus Known

We exist as a church to point people to Jesus. We know the difference a relationship with Jesus can make in every life, so through our words and our actions, we want to reflect Jesus and make the love of God obvious to the world around us.

Mission

Run into grace, find purpose, serve passionately

These are the things that we prioritise every day which help us to make Jesus known to others. We lean on the grace of God every day and we show that grace to others too. We value discipleship which helps us to discover our purpose, and as we grow we serve wholeheartedly.

What we believe

Values

CAUSE

Our values determine the way we live our daily lives. At Encounter Church, our values are:

Christlike - The better we know Jesus, the more like Him we will become.

Authentic - We value life without the mask. We are learning to be the same on the outside as we are on the inside so that the love of Jesus is on display in our lives.

Unlimited - Unlimited growth, unlimited discipleship, unlimited potential. We believe that God can do more than we ask or imagine.

Servant-hearted - the greatest example we could follow is the example of Jesus, and He was willing to serve. So will we.

Excellence - This isn’t about perfection, it’s about surrender. We are giving God all that we are and trusting that He will grow us to do all that He has called us to do.
